Литоургиiа réussit l'impensable : faire entrer le black metal dans l'église orthodoxe. S'il y a une dimension dramaturgique (indissociable de tout office religieux), Литоургиiа reste profond, solennel et touche le sublime. Après la sortie de cet album a lieu un Grand Schisme et un larcin : Христофор se fait dépouiller de son propre groupe par Барфоломей et Мартин ; tout ce qui reste ici provient de ces deux hérétiques. Felt I had to check out this little record while it was still cold out! Another dose of unmistakable Wolves in the Throne Room atavistic and primordial vibes. The bite of black metal definitely takes a back seat to a lush wash of cold ambience, a choice I am not opposed to and look forward to seeing what I think on relistens. WITTR continue to expertly conjure the spirits of the Earth. Brings me back to Fire in the Mountains! pinkytheent
